Do you mean a free editor? I'm not sure of any free ones because I do all my HTML by hand, but Front Page is a good one from what I hear, even though it isn't free.

Are you wanting a program that will write the HTML for you or something to check your HTML syntax? I use CSE HTML Validator from www.csehtmlvalidator.com and code it by hand. You can access some of the codes through its menu structor and its very accessible.

There's a realy cool program that actually believe it or not, it's already in windows. It's crazy. I love it to bits! it's this really really exciting program, called... oh oh. notepad?

Yup Liam Notepad is the greatest however I think thats for those who wanna do HTML by hand. I think Bee is looking for a editor. Some websites that provide free services like tripod, angelfire etc will have a webshell and you have 2 choices (acutally 3 I lied.). Choice 1: Basic editor which that's what you want. Just type in what you want and then save it. It'll give you what you want it does the work for you. Choice 2: Advanced editor which means html by hand. Which really Choice 3: notepad would be a better choice as if you do it by hand you can do it offline at your convienence and save it as a html document. And Choice 3 is also the FTP option where you can upload your web pages onto the webshell. Honestly HTML isn't really all that hard to work with once you get to know it and use it alot like I do.

Notepad is definitely better because, as was said before, you can do it offline and then upload it whenever you want.
